The Tall Ships Races 2017, which started in Sweden arriving to Klaipeda. The spectacular show of the 84 tall sailing boats, to be moored in the quays of the Cruise Ship Terminal, the Danė River, the Western Baltic Shipyard, and LITECTUS III (Memel City), is going to delight the eye of residents and guests of Klaipėda 5 to 13 hrs. So long as the Baltic winds are favourable, the start of the celebration will be announced at the Grand Opening in the Cruise Ship Terminal on 29 July (Saturday) at 15:00, with as many as 19 national flags streaming in the wind of Klaipėda. This time, Klaipėda is awaiting sailboats from Poland, Russia, Finland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Belgium, France, Austria, Brazil, Portugal, Oman, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and, of course, Lithuania.
